The Château de Guédelon is a fortified castle construction site started in 1997 for a period of 25 years according to the techniques and materials used in the Middle Ages.

Noyers-sur-Serein, with its preserved medieval village, is one of the "most beautiful villages in France". It was ranked 7th favourite village of the French in 2014.
